Although Obama has some obstacles going against him for this re-election campaign; like the republicans making sure that his job creation bill fails to pass in the house of senates, he is still ahead in the polls over Mit Romney. On top of that, Governor Rick Scott of Florida and Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey amongst others have both refused to accept the already available funds to build the high speed rail project which would off course create thousands to millions of jobs. Since when in our country's history does a governor refuse to accept funds to start a job creation project in his or her state? Especially if he/she has nothing to lose. In this particular case him and the whole state has everything to gain. For one the new infrastructure, two all the jobs that will become available due to labor demands from the projects. But still they blatantly refused it. The oddest things are happening just to prevent Obama from winning a second term. It looks like the republicans don't care about the people and are willing to put citizens through any level of suffering just to gain power. This is so bizarre. Obama faced a lot of battle trying to pass many of the things he promised because of all the votes needed just to pass on simple thing. In many of his efforts he had a single republican preventing the bill from being passed. But its in secret and the public don't know this and you will certain not hear it in the main stream media; its called "fellow bursting" - Just one republican senate is enough to achieve this. Republicans in the seats have consistently fellow bursted every single attempt. Yet the republicans can come out and claim over and over that he hasn't delivered on the promises that he made. If you are lucky to be exposed to the facts then you will know for sure that the republicans are responsible for preventing him from delivering. So they finally decided to nominate Mit? They toiled around for every and only at the last minute finally nominated him as their candidate for presidential election. This is the longest delay I ever heard of. Any guesses why? I really wonder why republicans took so long before they could decide who to give enough delegates and make the nominee. Mit Romney immediately chose Paul Ryan as his vice presidential candidate although Paul Ryan is extremely far right with his Any Rand obsession and so on. Maybe Mit Romney isn't too concerned about making the best choices and balancing how or where he can get the most support around the country. But anyway good luck Mit!
Mit Romney had Chris Christie speak towards his nomination and he almost didn't mention anything about him including his name all through the speech. He spent most of the speech time talking about himself. Paul Ryan did a good job on speaking towards Mit's presidency but his speech had many untrue statement. Anne Romney did a good job and probably gave the best speech towards Mit Romney's nomination for presidency. Condolisa Rice also spoke for a long time and spent a long time calling and encouraging endless wars. When Mit Romney finally spoke he did not mention anything about Afghanistan or the war there. He did not mention anything about the foreign wars or what he plans for fixing the economy. Instead he spent a long time talking about family. Talking about his father and mother, himself and his wife, Paul Ryan's family and so on. I wanted to use the convention speech to find positive things about Mit Romney to write for this site but I was not able to get any from this speech or from the whole convention. But I will keep looking.
