Republican National Convention With Mit Romney
At the republican national convention Mit Romney had a lot renowned people speak for him towards his nomination. When it came to his turn he spoke for a long time and did not mention anything about the issues facing the country. He only spoke about family. He spoke about his mother and father and how the loved each other for long. He spoke about himself and his nuclear family. He spoke about Paul Ryan and his family and how he loved certain members. He spoke about his music collection in his iPod being better than Paul Ryan’s collection. He did no mention how he will do anything to revive the economy or create jobs. He did not mention anything about the war in Afghanistan or how to end it. He did no mention anything about the war anywhere. Instead he talked about being tougher to Vladimir Putin and China. That has been seen as insulting our closest ally China. Mit Romney had Paul Ryan, Condolisa Rice, Clint Eastwook, Anne Romney and Chris Christie speaking towards his election as president. Chris Christie stole his show and did not mention him most of the time. Instead he spoke about himself as if selling himself for the 2016 presidential election nomination starting now. A lot of strange things happened at the RNC starting with Paul Ryans speech which was riddled with false statements. I wanted to use the Republican National Convention as the opportunity to write many positive things about Mit Romney and his election as president but I saw nothing positive anywhere to go on. This was all very disappointing!
